Course Description
The Computer course in Grade 5 offers the development of different computer skills, knowledge and character towards the productive, efficient and relevant use of computer and technology in and out of the school. It starts with computer ethics with focus on the proper use and care of computers and correct behavior in the use of technology. It also covers comprehensive lessons and activities in keyboarding to further enhance your typing skills. You will use advance search techniques on the Internet as well as learn, communicate and collaborate using Edmodo. You will also create movies using Windows Live Moviemaker, and create documents, presentations and spreadsheets using the Microsoft Office suite. The course also provides programming skills using Logo Turtle Graphics and Scratch Animation Program that will develop your logical and analytical thinking skills.
